Why Are Proposition 8 Supporters Such Arrogant, Ignorant, Self-Righteous, Hateful Bigots?
And why is this particular arrogant, ignorant, self-righteous, hateful bigot stating as fact that Prop 8 opponents are “marching through busy intersections causing traffic jams, disrupting church services, vandalizing church buildings, sending fake anthrax to Mormon churches, and harassing business owners who donated to Proposition 8″?
Roland Meyer of “Nevada Cit [sic],” do you know the meaning of the word “libel”? Probably not — but even if you do, what would you care, seeing as how the anti-gay brigades are grounded in a foundation of nothing but lies?
Why are Proposition 8 protesters so intolerant? Why aren’t people speaking out against the intolerance of those who refuse to accept the decision made by California voters — that marriage is between a man and a woman?
You don’t see McCain supporters protesting his defeat; we accept the decision of the voters. We aren’t practicing intol- erance, but those in favor of same-sex marriage are.
They’re marching through busy intersections causing traffic jams, disrupting church services, vandalizing church buildings, sending fake anthrax to Mormon churches, and harassing business owners who donated to Proposition 8. And they’re not going to stop until they get their way. Clearly these people are intolerant of the majority decision to keep marriage between a man and a woman.
Not only are they intolerant, but they’re also lawless. Isn’t traffic obstruction, harassment and vandalism illegal? Apparently they don’t care.

Fascinating that you are the very first person I’ve seen mention “fake anthrax,” Rolly-Boy. Who ever said anything about anthrax, fake or otherwise?
And another thing, Rolly: Don’t you have anything better to do than spew your anti-gay vitriol across the letters page of any paper that will print it? This is what you wrote to the SacBee in June:
Fire from heaven? Do you remember when same-sex marriage was front-page news? Less than a week later, California was burning.
Legal same-sex marriage licenses began to be issued after Monday, June 16. As of June 25, statistics from www.fire.ca.gov show there are 1,026 fires in California. Furthermore, on the same day, the Associated Press reported, “In less than a day, an electrical storm unleashed nearly 8,000 lightning strikes that set more than 800 wildfires across Northern California – a rare example of ‘dry lightning.’ “
The city of Sodom was destroyed by fire from heaven for the sin of sodomy (Holy Bible, Genesis 19). The word “Sodom” means “to scorch” or “burnt” (Strong’s Bible Concordance, entry No. 5467). Could there be a link between these events?

OMG! You’re one of those wacky Armageddon types, aren’t you, Rolly?
And apparently you really don’t have anything better to do with your time than vomit up the same old hateful rhetoric of whatever whacked-out “church” you belong to. Here’s another one of your missives, this time to the Auburn Journal on October 29th:
Yes on Prop. 8 will keep marriage traditional Maybe you have not yet decided to vote no on Proposition 8 because you think there are compelling reasons for homosexual marriage? There are none. On the contrary, all reason suggests marriage should be only between a man and a woman.
Did you ever stop to realize that male sex organs are not meant to fit together? (Do you put gas in exhaust pipes?) Why do you think it is that men cannot become pregnant but women can? Is it not patently obvious that only men and women should have the right to marry?
If two men or two women are allowed to marry, what’s next? Why not one man and his mother? Why not one man and three women? Why not one man and three dogs? If homosexual marriage is allowed then marriage possibilities become endless. Think about it.
Do you really want your children to be taught that homosexuality is a perfectly healthy and legitimate lifestyle? How will you feel if your child decides he’s a homosexual because his teacher (who is paid by your tax dollars) told him it’s normal to be a homosexual?
A yes vote on Proposition 8 will go a long way to keeping traditional marriage between a man and a woman the healthy rule for society.

Wow, you hate us, Rolly, you really, really hate us!
Tell me, Rolly, you wouldn’t be the Roland Meyer of Roland Meyer Concrete Pumping in Nevada City, with a P.O. Box in Cedar Ridge, would you? ‘Cause I sure would hate to be mistaken when warning my friends up in the Gold Country that they may be using a gen-u-ine gay-hatin’ bigot for their concrete-pumping needs.
(And the Uncle Toms in our midst expect us to “reach out” to this hopelessly hypocritical, ignorant, deluded, hate-filled Jesus-In-Name-Only warrior? Sure thing — when Mormon “spirit babies” fly out of my ass.)
