New GLBT Historical Society Exhibit Preview to Coincide with “Milk” Opening

SAN FRANCISCO — November 24, 2008 — The GLBT Historical Society will preview its new exhibit “Passionate Struggle: Dynamics of San Francisco’s GLBT History” at its new Castro Street location beginning on November 26th to coincide with the nationwide opening of Gus Van Sant’s film Milk. The preview will continue for several weeks. A ceremonial opening of the exhibit, including a ribbon-cutting with local elected officials and presentations by the exhibit’s curatorial team, will occur in mid-December.

WHEN & WHERE: November 26th, 2008 at 11 am. Exhibit is located at 499 Castro Street. The exhibit will be open daily from 11am - 7pm, except for major holidays. General admission will be $3.
